The Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, the official home of Jamaica Festival, will be the venue for the upcoming Grand Final of the 2019 Jamaica Festival Song Competition on Saturday, July 27.

Jamaica’s 57th anniversary of Independence is to be celebrated under the theme “One Nation, One People.”

This has been disclosed by Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange.

The 2019 Jamaica Festival Song finalists will roll into the southern parishes of St. Elizabeth and St. Catherine this weekend, as they continue their month-long, island-wide, free, performance road tour, aimed at bringing the impending Independence spirit to the masses.

Kingston, Jamaica: The “Sweet 16” Grand Final of the 2019 Jamaica Children’s Gospel Song Competition has received a new date and venue and will be hosted this Sunday, June 9 at Church on the Rock, 7 Clifton Drive, Kingston 8, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

St. Catherine and Manchester will also see their coronations being held this weekend. Both coronations will be held on Sunday, June 2, beginning at 7:00 pm, at the Eltham High School in Spanish Town and the Belair High School Auditorium, Mandeville, respectively.
