This Civic Ceremony is staged by the St. Ann’s Bay Parish Council with the support from the JCDC.

This is an annual event that is staged by the National Heritage Trust with the assistance of the JCDC. It features displays and performances by the various Traditional Folk groups as well as popular artistes. All this is done to the backdrop of traditional foods and crafts. The Emancipation proclamation will be read at midnight and the event continues into the early hours of August 1, Emancipation Day.

The crowning of the parish queen who will represent the parish at the National Coronation.
