JCDC Launch of Digital Platform for Opening of Entries Postponed

The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) wishes to announce that it will be postponing the press conference to launch its digital platform for the opening of entries for the 2021 competitions, which was slated for today, April 29.

Mrs. Marjorie Leyden-Kirton, Executive Director (Acting) at the JCDC said:

“As we would have previously stated, we have moved to a new virtual sphere to host our competitions, in keeping with the social distancing protocols caused by the COVID 19 Pandemic. In the final round of testing of the platform we identified some technical issues which we are correcting to ensure that the final product offered to our audiences gives the best possible end user experience.

“We crave your understanding and urge our performers to continue practising and fine-tuning their entries as we prepare to announce a new launch date.”
