Casmarine Daley presently serves the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) as Manager for the Central Region overseeing the parishes of Clarendon, Manchester and St. Elizabeth. Employed to the JCDC since 2012, she started as Cultural Organizer for St. Elizabeth, and was later promoted to Parish Manger, transforming the culture in the ‘Bread Basket’ parish with new programmes, increased programme participation, extensive media promotion and rigorous sponsorship and fundraising initiatives

 

Ms. Daley is a graduate of the University College of the Caribbean, where she attained a Diploma in Business Administration with distinction. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona and is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Management Studies at the same institution.

 

Founder, CEO and former host of the very first Cable TV station in St. Elizabeth, 966 TV, Miss Daley was a Student Council Representative for her five years at the Hampton School for Girls, Founder of the then Teens in Focus (TIF) Club at the Manchester High School and a former Cultural Entertainment and Affairs Chairperson of the Mary Seacole Hall, UWI, Mona. She has always excelled in the Arts, copping gold medals in Dance in the JCDC Festival of the Performing Arts. Miss Daley is a talented event organizer, poet, choreographer, dramatist and an avid public speaker who jumps at any opportunity to actively develop her community and her island home, Jamaica.
