This year marks the first staging of the Youth Edition of the Jamaica Visual Arts Competition and Exhibition.  Art pieces will be judged in categories namely: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Collage, Textiles & Fibre Arts, Photography and Sculpture/Assemblage. 

The competition and exhibition serve as launching pads for the careers of a number of Jamaica's artists, enrich the community of local practitioners with new talent and provide artists with access to the local and international public.
