Miss Hoo Fatt represents the Chinese Benevolent Association on the JCDC Board of Commissioners and is a member of the CBA Board of Management. She is the Editor of CBA News, the newsletter which serves the Chinese Jamaican community and is a member of the Jamaica China Friendship Association. She is a cum laude graduate of Fordham University, New York and holds the MBA in Financial Services from The University of Wales and Manchester Business School. Her postgraduate career includes an LL.M (Master of Laws) specialising in International Economic Law, read at The University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
Since 2008, Miss Hoo Fatt has written published columns on the World Trade Organisation and on sustainable development in small island developing states.
Her professional accomplishments have included Public Relations and Communications, as well as in financial marketing and business development. Since 2005, Miss Hoo Fatt has volunteered at the Jamaica Society for the Blind, speaks the French language and is learning Mandarin.
