Festival Queens Kickstart Tour of Kingston With Karaoke Night

Ahead of an exciting showdown between the 13 talented and creative Festival Queens in the Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Coronation, the Queens will participate in a Karaoke Night on Saturday, July 12 at ChriStar Villas, the official residence of the festival queens.

The Queens will rock the Vibes Sports Bar at 99a Hope Road in Kingston at the Karaoke night which will kickstart their tour of activities leading up to the National Coronation on Saturday, July 19 at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. The public will also get an opportunity to ‘lyme’ with the Queens on Saturday night while the Cultural Ambassadors will have an opportunity to interact with each other.

Among the activities planned for the Queens are courtesy calls to be paid on the Governor General, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Youth and Culture and the Mayor of Kingston.

The excitement is building up as each Parish Queen gears up to snatch the title and crown of Miss Jamaica Festival Queen 2014. Tickets for the Coronation are available at the Portmore Mall Pharmacy, Sangster’s Book Store (Mall Plaza, Portmore, Sovereign, King Street), JCDC Offices and online, www.jcdcjamaica.com. Adults can access tickets at a cost of $900 pre sold, $1000 at the gate and children $400. Reggae sensation Romain Virgo will headline the entertainment for the Show.
